  The Italian/Irish poetess composes short works of poetry, printed on colorful parchment and left on subways, park benchs and billboards across the city. I am battling the life removed from art... the emotionally monochromatic drone and drole of daily life. Pause, your eyes drawn to the bright little paper that seems out of place in the dank city. Pick it up, read it, savour it. Far removed from our crackberries, and IPOD's, from the hypnotic television and flashing advertising, from the race to and from wherever you are going... pause. Read. Remember that words are beautiful. Recall slower days and lighter steps. Embrace creative thought. And if you have loved my piece... fold it gently and place it somewhere precious, for it is my gift to you... this respite from your artless day. Embrace creativity again, and smile... because I may be watching you devour my poem, and I have rejoiced in the lifting of your woe and weighty concerns, for even one brief moment.
